ACC seeks travel ban on former DB chief Harun

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today sought travel bans on former DB chief Harun or Rashid, now the additional commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, and his wife Shireen Akter.
The ACC sent a letter to the Special Branch (SB) of police regarding this matter.
The ACC’s decision came after it decided to investigate allegations against him of acquiring illegal wealth worth crores of taka through various irregularities and corruption.
