A time to die

Woman in white Painting by Arthur Braginsky

Find me where the wild things are
Among forests green and expanses dark
Find me among the free and few
Who misunderstood the world and its rules
Among the broken things is where I make my home
And sing of my pain and my loss

If you are passing by, come rest with us too
For if you can carry the tune, you can join in too
So the music is a little less forlorn
But it always returns to its way, stubbornly old
To a time of turmoil and time of bliss
A time to die, a time to kiss
