Queen of Spring

There’s little more I want than to let it go

To sip you deep and to bite you raw

Drink you to a delightful sate

Apple wine, cherry and grapes

To you I give my flesh, my soul

Devour me well, devour me whole

With your nails dug deep into my being

Smear me up, scratch me yours

My queen of spring, my little minx

Of what to say of your golden strings

Of your eyebrows and the things they do

How the chalice of your lips, overflows

To taste from it, wicked delights

Pineapple, plum, rosehip wine

For it tears it up, it saddles the soul

Mortals making love in god’s adobe
